Creighton’s secondary school teaching master’s goes far beyond the administrative aspects of teaching. You’ll learn to model Jesuit values such as the importance of compassion, relationship-building, reflection and humility in your work. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, you’ll also gain experience that will prepare you for a successful career in education. The program utilizes a teacher residency model that blends online coursework with real-world experience. Students start with a six-week course on campus the summer before the residency portion begins. From there, they continue courses online while also partaking in a full-year immersive teaching experience in a secondary school.
