The Master of Music Degree at Georgia Southern University prepares individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music to hone their musical skills to a higher level, to pursue a post-baccalaureate degree for professional advancement, or to prepare for admission to a doctoral program in music. The program equips students with advanced artistic and technical skills and an ability to act independently as performers, scholars, teachers, and/or practitioners in one of five specific concentration areas: Composition, Conducting, Music Education, Music Technology, or Performance.
