Work with other organizations and disciplines to build and sustain social services for people and groups in need, particularly the diverse populations and communities in Alaska. UAA’s M.S.W. program is the only Alaska-based graduate professional degree program in social work in the state. By completing the Master of Social Work program, you will be eligible to sit for the Licensed Master Social Worker exam in Alaska. With a few more supervised practice hours, you will also qualify for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker exam in Alaska.
